At Chillpill, we believe healthy living shouldn’t suck. There shouldn’t be a difference between healthy living and just plain living. It should be fun to develop healthy habits and to crush your goals, whatever they may be.

What brought you here today?

  • Maybe your goal is to stop being frustrated everything you set up a goal, but can’t seem to follow through.
  • Or your goal is to lose a few extra pounds that are hanging out around your belly.
  • Maybe your doctor told you you’re in for a world of hurt if you don’t make a goal of making healthier choices in your life.
  • Maybe you’re looking at your kid, and decided you want to be better for them. 
  • Maybe your goal is to simply wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and feel good about yourself.

Whatever your goal, whatever the reason that brought you here today, let us be the first to say, “THANK YOU”.

We started Chillpill to help people just like you get healthier and feel better about themselves. We wanted to build a community of passionate people interested in helping each other attack their health goals and get the most of their lives. People who work desk jobs, have busy lives, and have decided – “I want to live better”. 

We want to give our community an enjoyable experience that fits each and every one of their unique life experiences. This is about you, not us. Your health is unique and we want to treat it that way. Here’s why we want to share Chillpill with you:

1. Health Improvement. We want you to have the energy to complete all the activities you want to do, to have a clean bill of health from your doctor, and continuously push yourself to take on any and all goals you’ve dreamt of achieving. 

2. Get You to Look Good Naked. Now, let’s be clear. This isn’t about getting you to look like a photoshopped supermodel or roid’ed out like Mr. Universe. Instead we’re talking about being proud of your natural beauty. your uniqueness, and the infinite potential of the person you see in the mirror. 

3. Increased Confidence. Toss your insecurities and doubts to the curb. We want you to win before you even start any challenge you take on. Change never comes from being afraid to take a chance. Let your improved health and your new found lease on life give you the confidence to shoot for the moon.

4. Limitless Happiness. Everything comes down to this. This is what it’s all for. Life’s short, and we should be enjoying every moment of it. We want to help you wake up excited and to go to bed proud crushing your goals day in and day out. 

We have one life. We aren’t meant to just exist. We’re meant to live! Chillpill is all about creating healthy habits and routines that stick, so you can live a purposeful life that is happy and healthy today, tomorrow – for life.

Our Goal in Writing This Blog

Through our blog, our mission is to use tested methods and frameworks to share ideas that give you the courage and confidence you need to create habits that allow you live on purpose. From practical tools to accomplish your dreams and goals, to strategies for personal growth and development, our goal is to empower you to do what matters most. 

These are some of things we want our readers to get out of this blog:

Because that’s what we wanted for ourselves, and what we’ve been able to do. All from changing our habits!

You’ve probably read one or two of our posts, and you’re probably wondering … what exactly are these guy’s qualifications? 

Our answer – we have zero formal qualifications. We aren’t claiming to be experts. We’re just two ordinary guys who wanted more out of life than to work dead-ends jobs and to let life pass us by. 

So we both decided to study successful people, behavioral psychology, habit formation, and performance improvement to learn how we can live life better. We applied this research on ourselves as “human guinea pigs.” Some of the ideas worked, some didn’t. But we’ve accomplished a lot (this is going to sound like bragging, so forgive us):

  • Became runners: Matt runs 5-10k, while Hien enjoyed up loving running so much he regularly runs half-marathons and marathons. 
  • Became morning people: We both regularly wake up around 5-6am every morning. (We sometimes give ourselves a break on weekends and wake up at 7am.)
  • Controlled our eating habits: We don’t touch fast food. It’s been at least 10 years since Hien has stepped inside a fast food restaurant. We’ve completed multiple 30-day challenges like going Gluten-Free and Vegetarian. We even gave up solid food for 30 days! Hien also quit coffee and caffeine.
  • Wrote a book: We wrote our popular “Avoiding the Trap” book (you can download it for free) and are working on our second book.
  • Meditation: We meditate every day and have been for over a year now.
  • Reading: We went from reading 1-2 books a year to 10-15.

There are other accomplishments (we’ve only listed same habits we share). We could list more, but there’s no point in that. The point is to show we’re living proof that we can shape our habits and change our lives for the better.

Now, we’ll be honest with you – we don’t have all the answers, but we’re happy to share what we’ve learned so far. We’re still trying to figure out this whole “life thing”. But we’re going to keep studying and bringing you new ideas, tips, and techniques to make living healthy easy and fun.
