Mindfulness: How to Clear Your Mind in Less than 5 Minutes [Special Guest: Stacy Conlon]
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.”
Boy, do we have a treat for you today! I want to introduce you to a dear friend of Chillpill, Stacy Conlon (@thezengirl), who’s going to teach us about mindfulness today.
Stacy Conlon, also known as The Zen Girl (the coolest nickname ever), is a Certified Wellness Coach and Mindfulness Facilitator who helps people transform stress into peace. A yoga and meditation practitioner for the past 15 years, she leads guided meditations and mindfulness sessions for startups and enterprise companies.

With more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing, her goal is to help startups and enterprise companies get the tools, training and exposure they need make their organizations more successful.
We’re so happy she joined us to show some easy steps to clear the mind.
Here’s a simple writing exercise that will help you clear your mind in less than 5 minutes.
- Find a piece of paper and a pen
- Close your eyes and take 5 deep breaths through your nose.
- Open your eyes, and write down the answers to the following questions:
- What is on my mind right now?
- How do I feel about it?
- What do I want to let go of?
- Tear up the piece of paper and throw it away
- Get a new piece of paper and write down your intention for the day. For example, “My intention is to calm and productive.”
When you practice this exercise, you will clear your mind and be ready to move forward in your day.
Try it and see.
